Johnny Quinn is a keynote speaker and leadership trainer for businesses, teams and organizations. He is a U.S. Olympian in the sport of bobsled and competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Johnny is also a former pro football player spending time with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL. Johnny has been featured on various media outlets around the world such as ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, ESPN, FOX, NBC, TIME, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
After graduating from McKinney High School, he was offered a division-I football scholarship to the University of North Texas. At North Texas, he was part of three football conference championships and played in three bowl games (2002, 2003, 2004). Johnny left North Texas as the schools All-Time Leading Receiver in receptions and receiving yards. He finished second in the school’s history in all-purpose running yards. He was also a walk on track and field team member. Johnny graduated with a degree in pre-law in 2006 and was inducted into the University of North Texas Hall of Fame as a first ballot candidate. In 2013, he was selected as one of two receivers to the University of North Texas All-Century Team.
Johnny married his wife Amanda on May 3, 2014. Together they have one daughter named Amelia Rose. When he is not on the road speaking, him and his wife own and operate the Johnny Quinn Insurance Agency, helping families all over the state of Texas with their insurance needs. A long-time goal of Johnny’s was to write and publish a book. On February 7, 2018 that dream came true as he released his first book Push: Breaking Through the Barriers.
