Jr. Art Show Rules

Entries should be delivered & registered on WednesdayOctober 17th from 1-6pm at the Yamboree Exhibit Building. Judging will take place on Thursday, October 18th. The show will open Friday from 9 am til 6pm and Saturday from 9am til 5pm.

 

1. Previous prize winning pictures will not be eligible for the competition.

2. The fee for the Jr. art show is $2.00 per entry.

3. Entries are limited to 3 per person.

4. Jr. art may not be over 50" in width when framed.

5. All paintings must be framed or be mounted and must have wire hangers.

6. Paintings must be picked up on Sat., between 4pm and 5pm NO EXCEPTIONS!!

7. Positive ID required to release all entries.

8. The chaiorperson has authority to place all entries in the best categories which they feel are suited for the show.

9. Best of Show winners' photo will be taken at 4pm Friday.

A Best of Show Ribbon will be Awarded in each division. Each junior entry a participation ribbon.

Senior Art Show Rules

1. Paintings must be brought in and registered on Wed. October 17th from 1 - 6pm at the Yamboree Exhibit Building and judging will take place Thurs. Oct. 18th. The show will open Fri. from 9am til 6pm and Sat. from 9am til 5pm.

2. Paintings must have been done in the past 4 years.Previous winners arenot eligible for competition.

3. Artists are encouraged to enter all paintings in the show. Copies or classwork are not encouraged. If entered, they will be judged accordingly. Any painting not to be judged must be marked so.

4. $5.00 entry per piece.

5. Entries are limited to 3 per person

6. No Paintings over 50" in width framed will be accepted. All paintings must be framed and have wire hangers.

7. Artists are responsible for their own pictures.

8. Artists may offer pictures for sale. 10% of sale price goes to the Yamboree Association.

9. Paintings must be picked up Sat., between 4 & 5pm, NO EXCEPTIONS!!

12. The chairman has final say over which category all paintings will be placed for the show.
