Junior Art Contest

October 20th - 23rd

Yamboree Exhibit Building

Entries should be delivered and registered on Wednesday, October 20th from 1 - 6 p.m. at the Yamboree Exhibit Building. Judging will be Thursday, October 21st. The show will open Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 Rules

1. Previous prize winning pictures will not be eligible for competition

2. Fee for Jr. Art Show is $2.00 per entry

3. Limted to 3 entries per person

4. Art may not be over 50" in width when framed

5. All painitngs must be framed or mounted and have wire hangers

6. Paintings must be picked up Saturday, between 4 and 5 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS

7. Positive ID required for release of entries

8. The chairperson has authority to place entries in the category best sured for the show

9. Best of Show winners' photo will be taken at 4:00 p.m. Friday.

Divisions

Junior I - under 5 years of age

Junior II - 5 thru 8 years of age

Junior III - 9 thru 13 years of age

Junior IV - 14 thru High School

Awards

1st - $5.00; 2nd - $3.00; 3rd - $1.00

A Best of Show and a Most Unusual  ribbon will be awarded in each division. 

Each Jr. entry will receive a participation entry
